Prelude

We all visualize that our beloved hometown, Garbeta, is no longer a drowsy or sluggish place. Modern Science and technology has connected all of us further to the rest of the globe. Hence the Question of further consciousness is to be resolved through scientific and value inculcated education in coherence with the need of present Bengal and India as a whole. It was the dream of late Dr. H.S. Paul that his native place would grow in education through global thinking and local actions. This led him to found Anandam, which focuses on English medium education to develop future leaders.

Dr. Paul dreamt of a Centre of Excellence for acoustically challenged children through trust, AFECT. Late Dr. Paul wanted the Children to undergo a technically suitable method of learning and to grow into an independent personality of higher esteem as well. The present trustees pledge to carry the flag of AFECT, parallel to general education in Anandam. Friends, let’s unite with open mind to aspire for an Institution ‘where minds are without fear and heads are held high’. Let us be watchdogs for our next generation to air the fragrance of a rational, open and genuine education for their colourful living as a human being.

Mission

To provide quality education with equal opportunity for all students irrespective of caste and class. To develop a sense of equality among the children   and help them to face the challenges of the world with a broad outlook. To make them self-reliant, productive individuals and awakened citizens. Providing the world with the leaders of tomorrow, by inculcating among the young scholars of today, the freedom of thought, choice and the freedom of expression.

Principal’s Message

“Learning gives creativity, Creativity leads to thinking, Thinking leads to knowledge, Knowledge makes you great.” – Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Life is a journey. The path we take, what we look back on, and what we look forward to, is up to us. We determine our destination. For us, this journey of excellence is perennial. A gratifying odyssey that began in 2013, with the vision of providing holistic and globally relevant education to the young citizens of India, ANANDAM H.S. PAUL MEMORIAL INSTITUTE has today, become a cornerstone in helping generations of students to dream, visualize and plan for their future.
When you enter our beautiful campus, the first thing that strikes you is the faithful and cognitively rich atmosphere which is all pervading in our corridors. As one gets acquainted with our culture and ethos, one realizes that family values, dedication, purity and bio conservation are not mere words for us, these are the maxims that we live by. Our idyllic working atmosphere and devoted facilitators have created their own masterpieces on the canvas of education. Winged as their brushes are by devotion, faith and love which are the hallmark of our institution.
Believing that “If everyone is moving together, then success takes care of itself,” the entire staffs of school moves with a mission of providing its children with all possible facilities that help them in becoming good and successful human beings. We continue our ascent towards success by asking more of ourselves today, tomorrow and forever. Accepting as true, Henry Ford’s words: “Life begins with one step outside of your comfort zone,” the School aspires to create a sympathy in the hearts of its young pupils, such that it exudes pure music and propels them to the exalted position that is the beginning of a wonderful dream. As educators, we always endeavor on how each child learns in order to differentiate our instructions to support diverse learning styles. I promise to provide a learning environment that is positive, safe, caring, a fun place to learn and grow. My goal is also to provide our students that essentials needed for success in a safe and warm environment.
Today, the role of a school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers, and productive members of an ever-changing global society. At ANANDAM H.S. PAUL MEMORIAL INSTITUTE we provide an atmosphere to our students for multifaceted development, where children are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence. This can only be possible in a holistic, student-centric environment. The talents, skills, and abilities of each student need to be identified, nurtured, and encouraged so that he/she is able to reach greater heights. Students need to be provided with a platform to think, express, and exhibit their skills. It is necessary to empower them to negotiate several issues that confront them, with the teacher being a facilitator.

Long term goals

  1. To provide an integral formation.
  2. To enable students to become men and women of action and reflection. Rooted firmly in and inspired by the values of human dignity, equality, Social justice and secularism.

  4. To foster in them skills to live and work in harmony with those who, differ from them in religion, caste, language, ethnicity etc.
  5. To encourage the students for their esteemed self growth.
